How can I add bookmarklet
into bookmarks list?
Adding bookmarklet
instructions are on given here
for apple IPhone. For
ease of use instructions are
given below for apple IPhone.
Instructions
to add Bookmarklets
from iPhone
Step
1: Bookmark this web page with name you
like it (tap on "+" sign at the bottom of your browser to add
bookmark)
Step
2: Tap on Bookmark icon in your Safari
browser (on bottom of your browser; second icon from bottom
right, next to
"+" sign)
Step
3: Select "Edit" button at the
bottom left corner of "Bookmarks" page
Step
4: Find bookmark that you have just added
in step 2. Tap on that bookmark
Step
5: On "Edit Bookmak"
page; Tap on the URL of bookmark. Keep your finger on the left side of
URL and
slide through until you reach the start of URL, which will be like 'http://soft-use.com/inst.html?javascript :...'.
Step
6: Keep cursor just before 'javascript'
and delete everything else before that. So you
will have to remove 'http://soft-use.com/inst.html?'
Step
7: Tap "Bookmark" button on the
top for going back to bookmark page. This will also
save your bookmark changes.
Done:
Now you can use this bookmarklet
to any webpages.
To
use bookmarklet on
webpage, go to desired webpage. Tap on
Bookmarks, and select bookmarklet
you have added.

How can I copy
from a website?
Step 1: To
copy from website
after your web page is loaded completely; Go to bookmarks on your
browser (tap
on sign next to
‘+’ sign at the bottom of your
browser to bookmark).
Step 2: Select
bookmark that you
created for Clippy.
This will apply bookmarklet
on web page
Step 3: Once
you apply bookmarklet
on step above you will see following image on
your webpage: (If you are not logged into Clippy
website you will be asked to logged in; you can have your session
logged in
with remember me option)
Step 4: Tap on
COPY button from
above screen. This will reload your webpage. You can see following
image once
page is reloaded successfully.
Step 5: Tap on
the word/image
that you have to copy and select content. If you want to
select paragraph
tap on first and last word of paragraph. (See
status at bottom)
Step 6: Once
you select your
desired content tap on it again. If you have more than one word/content
then
tap on last word. This will copy your clips on your personal clip
board.
Once you have
copied status will
change like below (See
Status at bottom)

clips?
To email

at top of your clip.

of the paragraph. Tapping on first word and then last word
will select
contents (including images).

How can I paste my
clips into web page’s text box?
Step1: To
paste clip from your
personal selection; load web page where you have to paste to
Step 2: Select
bookmark that you created for Clippy.
This will apply
bookmarklet on web page
Step 3: Once
you apply bookmarklet
on step above you will see following image on
your webpage: (If you are not logged into Clippy
website you will be asked to logged in; you can have your session
logged in
with remember me option)
Step 4: Tap on
PASTE. This will
add this icon
near
text box on webpage.
Step 5: Tap on ,
this will pop up your latest five clips as below
Step 6: Tap on
clip that you want
to paste, this will paste your favorite clip into Text box. To check
out your
previous clips
or
go back to latest clips by tapping on
.

Can I copy two
different clips from same page?
Yes. Copying
two clips from same
page will create two clips in
your clippings
list.

Can I copy image
in my clips?
Yes.

Will URL links
will be stored in my clips?
Yes.

clips through PC or Mac?
Yes. You can
view your favorite
clips from PC or Mac using your favorite browser. Go to http://clippy.soft-use.com
for viewing
your saved clips from other than IPhone.
However Clippy’s
